Idling to rule the gods save file5/1/2023 I think the only way the AI might be able to win against these strategies is by getting to two edges next to each other before you can get them, and then either take the centre first or maybe recapture both of their own pieces from the corner behind it after you take the centre. Possibly as bhaktivedanta notes it might be better to use an order of 8,2,4,6 - it reduces the chance of the AI taking over a corner of the board, and gives longer for the AI to place in the corners you are using as a trap. To the center-edges-corners heuristics: After 1st edge, you should try the opposite edge next, as that will increase likelihood of hitting one of H's cards in a corner.Īssuming the opponent goes first (the only way it can win) and you are playing entirely blind, I guess what is needed is to trap in a single card of the opponent, so for example if we use the number keys (except 0) as the grid, if you place at 8 and the AI has already placed at 7 or does after your move, if you then play at 4 and win 7, you are guaranteed at least 5 cards at the end.Īs the corners can be blocked in like this with just two cards, It seems something like playing 8,4,2,6 as you first four move options, then 5 (the centre) to flip over whichever of those was blocked by a previous AI move (although they could be retaken potentially), then finally the corners. Without thinking that through, you could try to implement those conditionals implicitly by tweaking the move order (if line x of your script ever executes / leads to a card being placed that would mean that previous placement conditions have not been met). I suspect, if we allow for conditionals (placement on field succeeded/failed), starting with edges would likely be optimal, as a failed placement on an edge (that you did not place before) gives away the position of one of H.'s cards that we can then capture. This is a very rough, stochastical approach. If that is the case, I would start with center, then the edges, then corners - try the fields with most neighbours first. I have not checked the decks, but taking what you write about Hyperion's and your deck as faith-value assumptions, all you need to do is capture one of his cards, right? My question is thus: Is there a way to play cards from this deck without seeing the placement of the opponent which always wins against all lines of play? Given the above deck, this is sufficient to win a large amount of the time, but it doesn't win ALL the time. I start by trying to place cards in corners, then in the middle, then in the four spaces orthogonal to the center. Currently, I have an AHK script that can play this game in a dumb method, picking the first card available in my hand and attempting to play it in each space until it has tried all the spaces. The only way Hyperion can win is by going first and placing five cards which are either never captured or which he can recapture. Hyperion has no winning interactions with this deck. To do this, you would go to the local files (.\Steam\steamapps\common\Idling to Rule the Gods\Idling to Rule the Gods_Data\Managed) and create a file Assembly-CSharp.So, with the addition of Baby Carno it is now possible to finally make an entire deck of cards that can't lose to anything Hyperion has: Then you need to take out (place // at the beginning of the line) each assert statement one by one and check what is blocking itĪnother thing to try would be to disable optimisations (which I have). Delete everything in the part after the assert() statements and delete everything in the part. Please copy the unlimited lucky draw script and edit it. As far as I know a negativ number of lucky draws doesn't make you a cheater, but I wouldn't recommend it.īut to figure out why unlimited lucky draws doesn't work on your side, I would need you help. Unlimited lucky draws is supposed to lift the limit of 100 per day as well as allowing you to use lucky draw even if you don't have any or aren't allowed to use them (challenges). If you don't have any lucky draws I would recommend that you would only go for more lucky draws in the beginning, since it could very well be god power that you get and you would have to wait a day again. ![]() ![]() I checked Lucky Draws and God Power and let an autoclicker hammer away on the "Open one" button to get more lucky draws and god power. Yes, the process would be to get a bunch of lucky draws, and than select what you need. There was an Update today, but I could check this option with the current version on my side. Strange that you couldn't select unlimited lucky draws.
